Join Our Team as a Certified Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at St. Luke's Health System. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our surgeons and anesthesiologists in the operating room.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare operating rooms and equipment for surgical procedures
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures
  • Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and technologies
Requirements:
  • Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
