Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at St. Luke's Health System. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and supporting our surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare operating rooms and equipment for surgical procedures
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the surgical team
  • Maintain a sterile environment and follow infection control protocols
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • A certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or Tech in Surgery - Certified (CST-NCCT) by the National Center Competency Testing (NCCT)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
