Key Responsibilities:
  • Own flight critical avionics from concept through production, including rapid prototyping
  • Design and develop new avionics architectures to advance V-BAT capabilities
  • Debug, root cause, and repair electrical hardware issues, driving improvements to prevent reoccurrence and increase reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver novel autonomous features
  • Support aircraft flight operations and data review, evaluating aircraft health, performance, and real-time debug and resolution
  • Resolve technical challenges with rigor, analysis, and testing
Requirements:
  • B.S. degree or relevant experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or another field related to embedded systems
  • 3+ years engineering experience in electrical system design, integration, testing, debug, and repair
  • Comfortable using circuit schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Strong engineering analysis and debug fundamentals
  • Experience leading small cross-functional engineering teams
  • Demonstrated track record of assuming ownership of and delivering outstanding outcomes
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbally
  • Demonstrated record of working hard, being a trustworthy teammate, holding yourself and others to high standards, and being kind to others
