Position Overview:

The Parts Counter Representative plays a crucial role in assisting customers with their parts inquiries, whether in-person or over the phone. This position involves ordering, receiving, and distributing parts to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately complete purchase orders and related documentation in a timely manner.
  • Utilize industry resources, including manuals and electronic data, to identify specific parts required by customers and provide diagnostic support.
  • Communicate with vendors to procure necessary parts.
  • Verify invoices to ensure that received parts match the original orders.
  • Organize parts in designated storage areas and issue them to the service department or customers as required.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of parts transactions and conduct periodic inventory checks in the warehouse.

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college/technical school, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • Strong computer proficiency.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including operating and maintenance instructions.
