We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team at Moloco, Inc. as a key member of our Product Analytics Data Science (PDS) team.
Key Responsibilities- Drive Performance Improvement: Utilize deep understanding of the ads ecosystem, customer needs, and data-driven insights to drive performance improvement in our product.
- Conduct Deep-Dive Analysis: Analyze large datasets, extract valuable signals, and produce actionable insights to inform R&D decisions and strategies.
- Build Metrics Framework: Establish a robust metric framework to measure campaign health and understand cause-and-effect relationships across drivers.
- Evaluate Ads System Health: Diagnose issues in our complex systems by analyzing input/output metrics of each component.
- Distinctive Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to articulate product questions, pull data from large datasets, and use statistics to arrive at recommendations.
- Project Ownership: Proven ability to own projects end-to-end, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and translate analysis results into business recommendations.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to present information and analysis results effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge and experience in experimental design, hypothesis testing, and statistical analysis techniques such as regression or linear models.
- Programming Skills: Experience with Python, R, or other scripting languages, and database languages such as SQL or data manipulation tools like Pandas and Dplyr.
- Collaboration and Communication: Ability to build positive relationships within the DS team and with stakeholders, and work effectively with cross-functional partners in a global company.
- Education and Experience: 6+ years of work experience in data science-related fields or an advanced degree such as Master's or PhD in a quantitative discipline with 4+ years of experience.
