Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Applied Scientist to join our Data Science and AI team. As a key member of our team, you will work on improving various components of our ad-tech stack, including ranking, retrieval, auction/bidding, and budget pacing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis to influence R&D decisions and strategies
  • Design and deploy advanced optimization approaches to improve ad-delivery
  • Build the right metrics for product areas and guide ramps with domain data expertise
  • Improve ML models through better data quality and insights
Requirements
  • Distinctive problem-solving skills and ability to articulate product questions
  • Proven ability to own projects end-to-end and manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge and experience in experimental design, hypothesis testing, and statistical analysis techniques
  • Experience with Python, R, or other scripting language, and database language or data manipulation
  • Ability to build positive relationships within the DS team and with stakeholders
  • 6+ years of work experience in data science related fields or an advanced degree in a quantitative discipline
