Job Summary

Just Helicopters is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rotor Wing Pilot to join our team of medical transport professionals. As a Rotor Wing Pilot, you will be responsible for safely transporting medical crew and patients to receiving hospitals within an assigned operational area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure aircraft and weather conditions are airworthy for safe transportation.
  • Comply with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM), and Air Methods policies and procedures.
  • Operate Air Methods aircraft in a safe and legal manner.
  • Complete pre-flight checks and verify the aircraft is in an airworthy condition.
  • Participate in regular meetings, activities, and community outreach programs.
Requirements
  • Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
  • Two to five years of related experience and/or training.
  • Commercial & Instrument Rating for category and class of aircraft.
  • First OR Second Class FAA Medical certificate required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree.
  • 2000 total flight hours with minimum of 1500 flight hours in category.
  • 1000 hours PIC in category.
  • 500 hours of rotor wing turbine time.
Working Conditions

This position is subject to drug and/or alcohol testing per the DOT/FAA requirements.
