This role involves conducting diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures for both inpatients and outpatients through the administration of radiopharmaceuticals and the proficient operation of various imaging, counting, and computer equipment.
Additionally, you will maintain precise records of radioactive materials from receipt through administration and disposal, serving as a clinical resource for unit personnel while ensuring adherence to current standards of practice.
Qualifications:
To thrive in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Registered Technologist in Radiology, Nuclear Medicine - R.T. (N)(ARRT) or certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) is required
- Physical Requirements: Medium Work - Ability to exert up to 50 lbs of force occasionally, up to 20 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly
