Product Trainer Role Overview
As a Product Trainer at Vontier Corporation, you will play a critical role in developing and delivering training programs for our customers, new hires, and authorized service contractors. Your primary focus will be on refining our current training platform and creating informative content for new products and continuing education.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop training content through our Learning Management System (LMS) that aligns with our organization's objectives
* Identify training needs and determine appropriate delivery methods
* Conduct classes on technical topics for extended periods of time in consecutive multi-day events
* Produce and deliver generalized and customer-specific presentations
* Assess trainees, conduct improvement surveys, maintain training inventory, source training materials, and plan training events
* Ensure compliance throughout our network of remote contractors
Work Environment:
* Training may be conducted on-site at customer locations, exposing you to hazardous gas compression equipment and 480V power distribution systems
* Analyze equipment in field environments to produce content based on common equipment problems and recommended solutions
Requirements:
* Ability to develop and deliver training content that meets our organization's objectives
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong organizational and time management skills
