Role of the Environmental Services Aide
As an Environmental Services Aide, your responsibilities will include:
- Selecting appropriate cleaning supplies, organizing service carts, and maintaining cleanliness in designated areas.
- Cleaning equipment and reporting any required repairs to management.
- Handling hazardous waste safely and transporting it in designated containers for proper sterilization.
- Managing the collection and distribution of clean and soiled linens.
Qualifications
To qualify for the role of Environmental Services Aide, candidates should possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred experience of two (2) years in a hospital setting.
