Faculty Position: Psychologist

The Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute in Tampa, FL is seeking a Psychologist at the Assistant or Associate Member level to fill a faculty position in its growing Behavioral Medicine Service, which is part of the Supportive Care Medicine Department.

Responsibilities include providing psychological services in outpatient and inpatient settings, conducting psychological evaluations and assessments, as well as participating in the clinical, educational, and research activities of the department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide psychological services to patients in outpatient and inpatient settings
  • Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments
  • Participate in clinical, educational, and research activities of the department
Requirements:
  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology
  • Florida psychology license or be license eligible
  • Completed a pre-doctoral internship
  • Fellowship in behavioral medicine, health psychology, or psycho-oncology preferred

The Cancer Center is comprised of a large ambulatory care facility, a 206-bed hospital, with a 36-bed blood and marrow transplant program, 20 state-of-the-art operating suites, a 30-bed intensive care unit, a high-volume screening program, and a basic science research facility.

The Moffitt Research Institute (MRI) is comprised of approximately 160 Principal Investigators, 58 laboratories, and 306,000 square feet of research space.
