Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Supervisor to join our team at Equiliem. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to our nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Provide guidance and oversight to nursing staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Develop and implement effective nursing care plans, ensuring patient needs are met and exceeded.
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Clinical Operations
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing department, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
    • Monitor and analyze patient care data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
    • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement in patient care and outcomes.
  • Education and Training
    • Develop and implement education programs for nursing staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality patient care.
    • Provide coaching and mentoring to nursing staff, helping them to develop their skills and advance in their careers.
  • Compliance and Regulatory
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including HIPAA and OSHA.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college or university with a current registered nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
  • A minimum of three years full-time or equivalent clinical experience is required and a minimum of two years of clinical experience in long-term care nursing with one year in a management/administrative or supervisory capacity is preferred.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Maintains current BLS/CPR certification (All SNFs and Behavioral Centers; ALFs/ILFs as required by State).
  • This position requires that the employee is able to read, write, speak and understand the spoken English language to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our patients and visitors at the work site when responding to their medical and physical needs.
  • Must provide verification of TST (tuberculin skin test) as required by state law and in accordance with Company policy. TSTs will be administered at the work site if required.
