We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Nurse to join our team at the Kennedy-Donovan Center. As a Pediatric Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing family-centered care to children and their families.
Key Responsibilities:- Partner with families to identify each child's strengths and developmental needs, and develop an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP).
- Work closely with a transdisciplinary team on program planning and delivery of services for families, including intake, screening, assessments, and ongoing service coordination.
- Provide a minimum of 25 hours of direct services for children and families, including home visits, parent training, and support.
- Conduct assessments, progress reports, and discharge summaries, and maintain communication with physicians, clinics, and community agencies.
- Facilitate parent/child and/or child groups to help children thrive within their family and communities.
- Possess current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.
- Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Have pediatric experience and meet DPH requirements.
- Be able to lift 50 pounds alone, 51+ pounds with the assistance of another person or adaptive equipment.
