About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at The Salvation Army. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations: Assume responsibility for all day-to-day store operations in the absence of the Store Manager, including managing inventory, processing paperwork, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customer needs are met by maintaining good customer relations, resolving complaints, and providing quick and efficient service.
  • Team Management: Provide coaching, training, and development to store employees, supervise employees in the performance of duties, and communicate any personnel issues with District Sales Manager.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure that the store is maintained at ARC Merchandising Standards, with adequate inventory levels on hand, and that the sales floor is clean, neat, and orderly.
  • Loss Prevention: Implement appropriate loss prevention measures to minimize losses and protect company assets.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years of retail management/supervisory experience.
  • Licenses & Certifications: Valid Driver's License.
