Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavior Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will work closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to implement individualized behavior reduction and skill acquisition treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Provide one-on-one in-home ABA therapy sessions to assigned clients, ensuring a safe and positive environment.
- Conduct daily observations, collecting and reporting critical data to monitor client progress.
- Participate in regular supervision sessions with a BCBA to ensure adherence to ABA techniques and best practices.
- Develop strong relationships with clients and their families, providing exceptional support and guidance throughout the treatment process.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in providing ABA therapy or implementing ABA techniques in a school or home setting.
- Registered Behavior Technician certification (or willingness to obtain within 3 weeks of start date).
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Flexibility to work part-time schedules with potential for full-time hours.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on building rapport with clients and families.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- 2+ years of experience working with children and adolescents on the autism spectrum and with developmental disabilities.
