Job Title: Head of People and Culture

Overview

We are seeking a seasoned HR leader to join our team as the Head of People and Culture. As a trusted advisor to our Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for driving strategic direction and expertise for the Human Resources function. Your key responsibilities will include building, planning, developing, implementing, and directing policies and programs, including strategic planning, organizational design, employee relations, equal employment opportunity, performance management, employment law, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the following People and Culture disciplines: Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Internal Communications and External Relations, Organizational Design, Strategic Business Partner, Design and Implement Processes, and Champion for Building the Site's Culture.
  • Partner with the Global Talent Acquisition team to create and execute recruitment strategies to meet our growth targets.
  • Oversee Onboarding, Day2Day HR activities, Talent Reviews, Succession Planning, Investigations, Disciplinary Processes, Offboarding, Leadership Training and Soft Skill Training, Engagement Activities, and Compliance.
  • Partner with FDB's communications team to create and deliver thoughtful internal employee communications.
  • Responsible for creating and driving external employment-related relationships and networks across the local community.
  • Lead organizational changes, design, and coaching for leaders at senior level.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, guidance, and support to the Senior Leadership Team as they navigate building a strong people-first culture.
  • Partner with the Global FDB People and Culture Team to deliver compliant policies, processes, and procedures that are aligned with both global and site initiatives.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 15+ years HR experience, of those years, 5+ must be at a senior leadership level.
  • Experience working in larger global organization with centralized functions.
  • Experience leading organizational design and change management.
  • Experience designing and implementing processes.
  • Experience managing budget targets.
  • Experience collaborating with executives.
  • Proven ability to create followership, build trust-based, collaborative, sustainable relationships with executives, managers, and employees.
  • Must be able to seamlessly flow between working both tactically and strategically.
  • Must have experience in navigating North Carolina and US-based employment laws and regulations.

Reporting Relationships

This position will report directly to the Head of the Site dotted line to the Global FDB Chief People Officer.
