About the Role

The Senior Architect will play a key role in leading the architectural team and guiding the design/construction process. This individual will be responsible for working closely with multiple stakeholders, including clients, design leads, and management teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Train and develop architectural designers in all processes, procedures, and standards.
  • Design Oversight: Coordinate, guide, and oversee the team to achieve technical solutions to complex design and client problems.
  • Design Review: Review architectural drawings for completeness, constructability, and coordination.
  • Design Development: Collaborate with design and technical teams to support or lead the development of design deliverables from studies to construction documents.
  • Design Accountability: Maintain primary accountability for all architectural designs, sharing design responsibility.
  • Mentorship: Mentor interns and junior members of project teams.
  • Office Standards: Participate in the development of office standards and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture required, Master's in Architecture preferred.
  • Experience: 14+ years of professional experience, 5+ years of experience with semiconductor and microelectronics facilities.
  • Skills: Architectural License (AIA) required, experience executing projects utilizing Autodesk Building System Software, experience with Design-Build a plus, LEED AP with Specialty or GA (Green Associate) preferred, Nation Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) Certificate preferred.
