We are seeking a skilled Palletizer Operator to join our team at Ventura Foods. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for consolidating individual units on a pallet for proper storage or immediate transfer to the customer and/or consumer.
Key Responsibilities- Setup and Operation: Set up and assemble palletizer for production runs, ensuring all necessary equipment is functioning properly.
- Pallet Management: Set the number and pattern for each pallet and each order, ensuring that product is properly stacked on pallets by following designated pallet patterns.
- Quality Control: Visually inspect shippers prior to stacking for unsealed cases, damaged cases, stained cases, and cases with illegible, incorrect, or missing code dates.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of production output, including quality control checks and any issues encountered.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth production operations.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 or more years of experience in a production or warehouse environment.
- Skills: Good judgment, strength, and stamina; effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to work at a fast pace.
