Job Title: Simulation, Virtual, Constructive and Gaming Developer

This is a business development position in support of INDOPACOM and is contingent upon award.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designs, implements, and debugs software for real-time systems, including sensing systems, tracking systems, imaging systems, and haptic devices in the synthetic training environment (STE).
  • Produces graphic experiences viewable on mobile devices and AR/VR headsets.
  • Identifies new engineering tools and environments, technology, techniques, methodology, and software to enhance systems.
  • Develops M&S analytical reports to enhance tactical and strategic survivability and lethality decisions via quantitative and qualitative techniques.
  • Utilizes simulation tools to analyze system alternatives and develops recommendations in terms of mission effectiveness, vulnerability, and cost.
Requirements:
  • 3 to 10 years of experience and a BA/BS or MA/MS degree.
  • Ability to work independently and perform all functional duties.
  • TS/SCI clearance.
  • Heavy use of computing systems, PC or laptop.
  • Typing and reading from a computer screen.
  • Sufficient mobility, including bending, reaching, turning, and kneeling.
  • Ability to lift and transport equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Travel to other sites, up to 10% of the time.
Work Environment:
  • Generally an office.
  • Cubicle environment with close quarters, low to moderate noise, bright or dim lighting.
  • Ability to work well with co-workers, customers, and all levels of management.
Equipment and Machines:
  • Ability to operate office equipment, including a personal computer, printer, copy machine, telephone, and other equipment.
Attendance:
  • Regular hours, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
  • Flexibility to adjust to surge situations based on critical mission requirements.
Other Essential Functions:
  • Professional behavior at all times.
  • Clear, concise, and accurate communications skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position.
  • Independent personal transportation to office or work site.
  • Travel to and from customer's locations and the test fields may be required.

The base salary range for this position is $85,000 - $106,000.
