Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Wargaming Analyst to join our team at Amentum. As a Wargaming Analyst, you will provide exercise support to Blue Team/Red Team Wargaming capabilities, developing courses of action for the employment of improvised threats. You will also support scenario development for trends impacting counter and deterrence of improvised threats and threat networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute wargaming scenarios to simulate real-world threats and challenges
  • Provide exercise support to Blue Team/Red Team Wargaming capabilities
  • Develop courses of action for the employment of improvised threats
  • Support scenario development for trends impacting counter and deterrence of improvised threats and threat networks
  • Deliver unique insights and actionable responses to tactical, cultural, political, economic, and social trends in multiple AORs
  • Lead role-playing and war-gaming activities to understand threat groups
  • Assist Government designing scenarios in both tabletop and computer-simulated environments
Requirements
  • 3-10 years of experience in wargaming, exercise support, or a related field
  • BA/BS or MA/MS degree in a relevant field
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Ability to operate office equipment and software
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
Work Environment

This position will be based in an office environment with occasional travel to other sites. The ideal candidate will be able to work well in a team environment and have excellent communication and analytical skills.

Equipment and Machines

The successful candidate will be required to operate office equipment such as a personal computer, printer, copy machine, telephone, and other equipment as required.

Attendance

Regular attendance of scheduled hours is expected, with flexibility to adjust to surge situations based on critical mission requirements.
