Job Description: Strategic Supply Management Team Leader

As a **Strategic Supply Management Team Leader**, you will play a pivotal role in steering the direction and management of a category team. Your primary focus will be on crafting and executing strategic initiatives, overseeing supplier contracts and partnerships, and ensuring adherence to category agreements and strategies. You will facilitate Supplier Business Reviews, pinpoint potential risks, and enact strategies for risk mitigation. Furthermore, you will lead a team within Supply Management, offering support and addressing operational hurdles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and implement strategic initiatives to enhance cross-business collaboration
  • Oversee strategic supplier contracts and maintain strong relationships
  • Guarantee compliance with category agreements and overarching strategies
  • Present procurement opportunities and planning tools to senior leadership
  • Develop annual value propositions and collaborate with cross-functional teams for execution
  • Conduct Supplier Business Reviews and apply risk mitigation strategies
  • Lead and manage a team within Supply Management
  • Provide mentorship to team members and resolve operational challenges
Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Supplier Quality, and Negotiation
  • Exceptional problem-solving and communication abilities
  • Capability to lead and nurture a team in alignment with business objectives
  • Willingness to travel up to 15%

A Bachelor's Degree, professional negotiation experience, and a background in enhancing supplier performance are advantageous. Familiarity with APQP processes and knowledge of motorcycles and accessories is also beneficial.
