Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Financial Services Director to lead our team at First Citizens Bank. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing branch operations, managing a staff of sales and service representatives, and driving business growth through proactive customer outreach and service requests.

Sales and Growth

Achieving Results: As a Financial Services Director, you will strive to achieve individual and/or team financial, production, and relationship results relative to specific metrics and goals assigned. This includes engaging with customers, prospects, and referral sources through proactive outreach and representing the Bank in the community to generate additional business and identify potential CRA opportunities.

Service Standards

Fostering Partnerships: You will foster collaborative partnerships that deliver value for customers, prospects, and colleagues, initiating conversations to uncover sales or referral opportunities.

Operations and Administration

Compliance and Risk Management: In this role, you will ensure compliance with all regulations, bank policies, procedures, and delegated authorities to manage risk related to credit, operational, reputational, regulatory, and legal aspects of personal interactions, customer transactions, and financial exposures.

Team Management

Leadership and Development: As a Financial Services Director, you will manage performance and personnel functions for a team, ensuring operational soundness while executing on a plan to deliver results that create value for the customer and meet the financial expectations of the bank. You will drive accountability to role expectations, responsibilities, and authorities, providing one-on-one feedback and coaching that supports associate development and achievement of results.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in financial services, sales, or bank operations OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in financial services, sales, or bank operations
  • Preferred Area of Experience: 2 years in a leadership role, sales coaching, small business lending, business development
  • License or Certification Type: In cases where licensing is required, associates must complete the Bank-sponsored licensing program within 12 months of entering the role
  • Required Skill(s): Application of a structured sales process, providing financial guidance and expertise, financial literacy, knowledge of retail banking products and services, operations management
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $ $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Additionally, First Citizens Bank offers a comprehensive benefits program, including customized offerings to support families, health, and well-being.
