Position Overview:

We are seeking a proficient Press Setup Technician to become an integral part of our workforce. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of mechanical power presses or hydraulic presses, ensuring the accurate production of components from steel coils while meeting stringent production criteria.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Precisely configure mechanical power presses or hydraulic presses to facilitate smooth production workflows.
  • Operate press machinery safely to ensure the consistent creation of high-quality components.
  • Perform comprehensive inspections of manufactured parts to verify adherence to specifications and standards.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and maintain detailed records of operational activities.
  • Follow safety protocols diligently and report any issues immediately.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience as a Press Setup Technician in a manufacturing environment.
  • Expertise in the setup and operation of press machinery.
  • In-depth understanding of steel coil processing, production standards, and work instructions.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on precision and quality assurance.
  • Capability to troubleshoot and execute basic maintenance on machinery.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and utilizing measuring tools.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Hourly Rate: $18-24, commensurate with experience.
  • Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6 am - 4:30 pm; Fridays as needed based on workload.
