Position Summary:
As a Financial Accountant, you will be instrumental in overseeing financial transactions, ensuring adherence to accounting principles, and supporting the financial integrity of our organization. This position reports directly to the Corporate Controller.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct month-end closing activities, including posting journal entries and performing account reconciliations across various areas such as Payroll, Prepaids, Fixed Assets, Commissions, Accruals, and Intercompany transactions.
2. Ensure consistent and timely bookkeeping across entities in compliance with US GAAP and company policies.
3. Assist in preparing month-end reporting packages and conducting variance analysis while maintaining comprehensive documentation.
4. Participate in the financial statement consolidation process and collaborate with the FP&A team for month-end management reporting.
5. Provide support for technical accounting matters and assist global accounting teams in resolving accounting, control, or audit challenges.
6. Engage in accounting transformation initiatives and embrace collaborative efforts while addressing ad-hoc requests.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
- CPA certification or progress towards it is advantageous but not mandatory.
- A minimum of 2 years of accounting experience in a dynamic environment, ideally with a blend of public accounting and industry experience. SaaS experience is preferred.
- Proficient knowledge of US GAAP and experience in translating accounting guidance into operational policies.
- Familiarity with Netsuite is a plus.
- Strong team player who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment, with a focus on high-risk areas and effective issue resolution.
- Advanced spreadsheet capabilities, with the ability to analyze large datasets for informed decision-making.
