Job Summary

Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out physicians' orders by following established protocols and care standards to ensure improved patient outcomes.
  • Perform equipment maintenance, report equipment failures, and conduct quality assessments (QA) to ensure optimal imaging quality.
  • Maintain a high standard of medical ethics and demonstrate self-motivation to increase knowledge and understanding of the field, disease, and new procedures.
  • Comfortably scan general abdomen, OB/GYN, vascular, breast, thoracentesis/paracentesis, and breast biopsies.
Schedule Information
  • 8-12 shifts per week, including 2-12 hour shifts and 2-8 hour shifts.
  • Weekends are included in the schedule.
