Golisano Childrens Hospital - Lee Health is seeking Pediatric Psychologists
Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida is a state-of-the-art pediatric facility that delivers vital and lifesaving care for children and their families throughout the region. The 135 bed regional hospital cares for children across five counties and is the only childrens hospital between Tampa and Miami. Golisano provides a variety of specialized services for our communitys children ranging from emergency care to behavioral health, surgery to critical care, orthopedics, cancer treatment, cardiology, and more. It has a 16 bed PICU, 70 bed NICU with 24-hour in-house Neonatology coverage.
Lee Health is a non-profit organization comprised of more than 16,000 employees, 4,500 volunteers, and more than 1,100 employed primary care and specialty providers with over 100 practice locations throughout Southwest Florida. The organization has 4 acute care hospitals and 2 specialty hospitals that together house over 1,800 hospital beds.
Position Information:
Lee Physician Group (LPG) Pediatric Behavioral Health seeks several full time Pediatric Psychologists to join our growing team This outpatient position will provide evidence-based treatment for children, adolescents, young adults, and their families who present with a range of psychiatric and developmental conditions. This position works with a dynamic multidisciplinary team comprised of clinical psychologists, multiple licensed clinical social workers (LCSW), mental health workers (LMHC), social workers (BSW), neurologists, developmental pediatricians, psychiatrists, and several other critical support staff. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with no weekends or call required
Requirements: Candidate must hold a doctoral degree (Ph.D./Psy.D.) from an APA-accredited graduate program. Candidate must also have completed an APA-accredited internship in clinical counseling, or school psychology, have at least one year of post-doctoral training under the supervision of a licensed psychologist, and be licensed or license-eligible in the state of Florida. A valid and active Florida license is required prior to start date. Prior experience in outpatient pediatric behavioral health is required. Psychologists providing treatment should have proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities.

Golisano Childrens Hospital has been named Top Childrens Hospital by The Leapfrog Group four times. Golisano is home to Southwest Floridas only state-designated Regional Perinatal Intensive Care Center and is a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Golisano is recognized as an Asthma Friendly Hospital by the Florida Asthma Coalition. Most recently Golisano Children's Hospital was recognized as a Certified Autism Center. Golisano is the second hospital in the United States and first in Florida to receive this designation.
