CDL A Delivery Driver Job Description

Gordon Food Service is seeking a reliable and skilled CDL A Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering food products to various locations, including restaurants, schools, hospitals, and universities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver food products to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Unload cases up to 100 lbs and use a ramp and two-wheeler throughout the shift
  • Build relationships with customers and provide excellent customer service
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve delivery goals

Requirements:

  • Class A CDL License at hire
  • Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds
  • Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards
  • Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check
