Position Overview
We are in search of a Senior Systems Engineer who will collaborate closely with SEAKR System Architects, the project team, and clients to assist in defining system architectures and establishing appropriate levels of requirements.
This role involves working in tandem with Hardware and Software Engineers to ensure that module, FPGA, and software designs align with client specifications.
The Senior Systems Engineer will engage with clients to guarantee that both SEAKR and client requirements are clear, consistent, accurate, and comprehensive, while also conducting system trades to optimize design solutions.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess experience in the Aerospace sector, specifically in requirements management, which includes the creation, tracking, flow-down, coverage, verification, and compliance matrices of requirements.
A background in detailed hardware or software design is advantageous, along with familiarity in managing requirements and change orders, and the capability to adapt efficiently to evolving client needs.
Preferred educational backgrounds include Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.
Top Secret Clearance is preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Experience with requirements management tools is a plus.
Desirable experience includes digital and/or RF electronics design, schematic capture, FPGA design, embedded system design, single board computers, or embedded software design.
Additional Information
Compensation:
The base salary range is $100,000 to $130,000, contingent upon qualifications. SEAKR offers comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, along with a robust 401(k) retirement plan. In addition to the base salary, employees may qualify for a year-end bonus. SEAKR provides various paid leave options, including vacation, sick leave, bereavement, and FMLA.
