We are in search of a driven professional with over 5 years of experience in the event industry, particularly in execution and operations. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing programs from the moment a sale is finalized and will be willing to travel across the United States. Experience in Destination Management Companies (DMC) or meeting planning is advantageous.

This role is project and event-focused, offering flexible hours that align with event schedules. As a consultant, you can expect to dedicate approximately 25 hours per event, with 5-8 hours spent onsite, including travel time. You may plan for 3-5 events monthly, with opportunities for additional hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee a dynamic calendar of corporate events, prioritizing customer satisfaction, profitability, and the delivery of outstanding experiences that encourage client loyalty.
  • Engage with clients to ensure the execution of sold services meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Coordinate event requirements with vendors to guarantee compliance with client agreements.
  • Recruit and manage staff from our trained pool of contract personnel.
  • Develop comprehensive event operations orders for onsite execution, detailing all relevant information, timelines, and maps, to be distributed to staff and vendors a week prior to events.
  • Manage inventory and logistics for events, including travel arrangements.
  • Facilitate in-person events, acting as the liaison between clients and vendors, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Review and approve vendor invoices to maintain profitability margins.
  • Contribute to project profitability by identifying cost-saving opportunities during event execution and updating financial records as necessary.
  • Onboard new vendors and ensure compliance with documentation requirements.
  • Collect feedback from clients and vendors post-event, track performance metrics, and refine processes to achieve a satisfaction rating of 9 or higher.
  • Conduct debrief meetings with clients and vendors to enhance service quality.

Essential Skills
