Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning services.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules to meet the needs of our facilities.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
  • Manage and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure optimal performance.
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with infection control protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to housekeeping staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and report on cleaning services to ensure high standards are maintained.

Requirements:

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) and relevant experience in housekeeping or a related field.
  • Certified member of the International Executive Housekeeper's Association (IEHA) or equivalent certification.
  • At least one (1) year experience in hospital housekeeping services within the last three (3) years.
  • Ability to pass background checks by various Federal Agencies (e.g., DOD, DHS, FAA, etc.) to obtain security access badges.
  • Valid Driver's License with clean driving record and ability to travel as required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and meet all eligibility requirements.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and other infectious diseases.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • OSHA 10 Training Certificate and OSHA 30 Training Certificate.
  • Proficiency in languages other than English, especially Spanish.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Working Environment:

  • The work environment is typically performed in an indoor environment, in a medical/clinic setting.
  • Typical workweek may require some long days to meet periodic upturn in business demands or meet deadlines.

Physical Demands:

  • Duties may include standing for long periods of time with frequent reaching, sitting, walking, twisting, stooping, bending, kneeling, and squatting.
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs., push/pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Employee may be required to pass a functional capacity test for this position.
