ROLE SUMMARY
The Warehouse Operations Specialist is responsible for maintaining inventory levels and assisting in order fulfillment, focusing on the loading and unloading of products within our production area.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the workflow of the shipping department to prevent interruptions or delays.
- Continuously move products while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
- Handle packing, labeling, and staging of all shipments.
- Perform basic accounting tasks such as addition and subtraction.
- Utilize heavy machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Demonstrate strong inventory management skills.
- Complete other assigned duties as necessary.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Forklift experience is preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities.
- Effective time management skills.
ADDITIONAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Successful completion of a comprehensive background check is necessary.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 100 lbs to a height of at least 5 feet and carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.
- Capability to work seated or standing for extended periods, maintain balance while climbing, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers for various tasks.
- Ability to handle organic materials daily and wear personal protective equipment as required.
- Visual acuity to perform tasks such as reading and inspecting small parts.
- Effective verbal communication with co-workers and vendors in moderate noise environments.
Compensation will be based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, is provided. This position typically requires an average of 40 hours per week, with availability for after-hours emergencies.
