Adecco Healthcare is currently seeking a Residential Group Home RN to provide essential nursing services within a supportive environment. This role is based in a residential setting, focusing on the well-being of individuals with developmental disabilities.
Position DetailsThis is a part-time and permanent position, offering flexibility in scheduling. The selected candidate will work approximately 20 hours per week, with required shifts on Mondays from 8 AM to 3 PM or 4 PM, along with potential flexibility on other days.
Key Responsibilities- Engage regularly with residents to establish rapport and monitor their health status.
- Maintain accurate health documentation using PrecisionCare software.
- Coordinate and administer prescribed medications while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Provide training and support to residential staff, fostering effective communication with healthcare providers.
- Participate in safety meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions.
- Handle on-call responsibilities and assist in developing medical protocols.
- Valid RN license in New York State.
- At least six months of professional nursing experience.
- Experience in caring for clients with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's Degree is a plus.
- Current NY State Driver's License.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- NYS Medication Administration and OPWDD Nursing Certification (training provided if not held).
- SCIPr certification.
- Completion of all other OPWDD mandated trainings.
