Job Title: Program Lead

Job Summary:

The Program Lead will support the Director of Clinical Services Initiatives in implementing the Youth Court Alliance Program in York County. This is a full-time grant-funded position that requires excellent written and oral communication skills, Spanish fluency, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in program implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Director of Clinical Services and the Program Coordinator with program planning, development, and implementation.
  • Collaborate with volunteers and implement the Youth Court Alliance program at sites throughout York County.
  • Maintain and organize individual files for all Youth Court Alliance Participants.
  • Collect data required for proper evaluation of the program.
  • Provide continued mentorship services to prior Participants of the Youth Court Alliance.
  • Assist with providing technical assistance to school districts and magistrates in implementing the Youth Court Alliance program model.
  • Work with the Director of Clinical Services Initiatives and the YCA Coordinator to oversee the workflow of the program interns and program staff.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all program-related materials, clients, and cases.
  • Assure the integrity of projects funded with public and private funds.
  • Track program expenses to ensure grant funds are spent within budgetary guidelines.
  • Ensure the safety of program Members and Participants at all times.
  • Assist with the planning of events for the Youth Court Alliance.
  • Provide appropriate resources to students and their families at the discretion of the Director of Clinical Services and YCA Coordinator Initiatives.
  • Educate the community, stakeholders, business leaders, and families about community support surrounding education.
  • Attend required meetings and training.
  • Complete participant intake and facilitate home, school, and community meetings.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Sociology, Human Services, Criminal Justice, Organizational Development, Social Work, or related degree.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Spanish fluency is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in program implementation, including 2 years of consistent volunteer experience with one program.
  • Ability to work effectively with all types of people and organizations.
  • Ability to work with children and high school-aged youth.
  • Ability to recruit, train, and supervise the work of volunteers and interns.
  • Demonstrated reliability and positive work habits.
  • Willingness to be a constant role model and mentor to youth.
  • Experience with data collection and writing grant reports.
  • Fully proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Capable of multi-tasking and working under pressure.
  • Possess a valid driver's license in accordance with our insurance provider's requirements.
  • Ability to pass background checks in accordance with insurance provider and legal requirements.
  • Must have after-school availability. Program hours conclude around 6:15pm Monday through Thursday.
