Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ordinance Equipment Mechanic to join our team at GTT, LLC. As an Ordinance Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the maintenance and repair of complex electronic, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on avionics, missiles, weapons controls, aircraft armament, bomb racks, launchers, and associated equipment.
  • Electrical and Mechanical Work: Remove and install components, connectors, and wiring into cabinets, chassis, and console-type assemblies, and perform mechanical duties such as removal, installation, and adjustment of mechanical parts to precise tolerances.
  • Structural Work: Perform light machining, sheet-metal work, drilling, riveting, and airframe repairs as needed.
  • Quality Control: Perform informal, in-process checks on manufactured or processed items to assist authorized formal inspection and/or test personnel in determining product validation.
Requirements
  • Education: High School degree or GED equivalent.
  • Experience: Must be able to perform duties using pneumatic tools, electric tools, hand tools, and precision measuring equipment.
  • Knowledge: Must be able to read, interpret, and analyze engineering drawings, production planning, and other technical documents, and possess extensive knowledge of the varied and complex electronic, electromechanical, and/or optical equipment/system(s) involved.

  • Mental Demands: Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
