Safety and Maintenance

As a Maintenance Electrician at Aerotek, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment by inspecting production equipment and plant facilities. You will perform the duties of a Maintenance Mechanic in a safe manner, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.

Maintenance and Repairs

You will immediately repair all production equipment as required, implementing and executing preventative maintenance schedules. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting, breakdown repairs, and preventative and predictive reporting of maintenance work performed. You will also complete work orders, accurate time tracking, and parts consumption reports.

Housekeeping and Industrial Experience

You will maintain general cleanliness and tidiness of the work area(s), ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. Your industrial experience should include working with a range of voltage from 480v to low voltage of 24v, reading and understanding blueprints, and troubleshooting experience. You should also have experience with industrial equipment such as stamping machines, brake presses, and CNC machines.

Soft Skills and Qualifications

You should be able to work effectively in a loud and dusty environment, comfortable with objective and direct communication, and willing to follow instructions from different departments. You should also be able to work with basic electrician tools such as a multi-meter, electrical PPE, and torque wrenches.
