Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Entegee, a leading provider of custom automation projects and controls solutions. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing, analyzing, and simulating concepts for Electro-Optical subsystems and components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze component designs and mounting provisions for various devices
  • Focus on mounting precise optical elements and subassemblies
  • Develop electro-mechanical mechanisms used in sighting systems
  • Work on Fire Control sensors including Hand Controllers, Gyros, Accelerometers, Periscopes, Auxiliary sights, Muzzle reference sensors
  • Ensure designs meet vehicle performance requirements including human factors, safety, environmental and mine blast requirements
  • Conduct material selection/analysis for commercial and military Electro-Optical system components
  • Perform detailed design of Electro-Optical custom components
  • Analyze the impact of modifying coatings and opto-mechanical features on performance

Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have a BS degree
  • Solid modeling experience using NX and Creo

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Teamcenter and Vis Mockup

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $40.00 to $60.00 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan.
