Job Summary

Aerotek is currently hiring for a production role with an aerospace company in a manufacturing environment. This is a long-term career opportunity with potential for great benefits and compensational growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate machine tools, such as lathes, mills, boring machines, and grinders to machine metallic and non-metallic pieces.
  • Trim, drill, route, line up, and assemble material.
  • Work with forming machines and presses.
  • Set up and break down production tools and production aids.
  • Use gauges, scales, calipers, and other measuring equipment to check quality.
  • Complete and follow work orders, set up cards, and other instructions for work processes.
  • Perform daily maintenance on machines, including maintaining fluid levels, emptying chips, wiping down machines to remove coolant, and dust and debris.
  • Check and monitor the parts that are being run.
  • Deburr and blend all parts that are machined.
Shifts Available

Two shifts are available:

  • 6:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Thursday
  • 4:00pm - 2:30am, Monday - Thursday

Both shifts will have mandatory overtime on Fridays during the spring/summer months.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Capability to read the basic dimensions and tolerances of a blueprint.
  • Good basic math skills.
  • Ability to use measuring equipment.
  • Any trade school is preferred, but not required.
