Responsibilities- Assessment and Planning: Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each child.
- Clinical Judgment: Collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare professionals to identify potential nursing diagnoses and develop effective care plans.
- Documentation and Communication: Accurately document patient information, including nursing diagnoses, expected outcomes, and interventions, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
- Interventions and Revisions: Perform interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and hospital policies, and revise care plans as needed based on evaluation and changes in medical plans.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Use clinical judgment to establish priorities and lead the care team in providing high-quality patient care, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective care coordination.
- Education and Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state in which the nurse practices.
- Health Certificate and PPD: Current Health Certificate and PPD or Chest X-Ray.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification: Current BLS card.
- Experience: One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
- Skills: Pediatric care, G-tube management.
- Schedule: Full-time, Part-time, PRN; Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights from 9:30p - 5:30a.
