  • Develop and implement thorough medical treatment plans that consider biological, psychological, and sociocultural factors.
  • Conduct physical assessments of patients with respect and professionalism, prescribing appropriate medical treatments.
  • Gather and review essential patient information through various means, ensuring accurate reporting to supervising physicians.
  • Maintain safety standards by reporting hazardous conditions and equipment issues to the relevant personnel.
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives by reporting any incidents according to departmental protocols.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development through continuing education opportunities.
  • Provide perinatal consultations, maternal and fetal care, and perform obstetric ultrasounds.
  • Engage in daily teaching and interaction with residents and medical students.
  • Conduct outpatient consultations and manage ultrasound clinics.
  • Deliver direct care to patients with high-risk pregnancies and consult on hospitalized patients.
  • Utilize electronic health record systems for documentation and billing processes.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality in accordance with federal and state regulations.
  • Adhere to institutional policies and safeguard university resources.
  • Demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under pressure while meeting deadlines.
  • Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.
  • Be available for evening, night, and weekend shifts as required.
  • Exhibit a commitment to the core values of the institution.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology and subspecialty board eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
  • Licensing: Active Florida Medical License and DEA required, along with necessary credentialing.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is essential.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
