Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at FIRST RF CORPORATION. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of our products and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of incoming components, sub-assemblies, and finished products to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Verify supplier documentation, including First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and Certificates of Compliance (CoC's).
  • Perform visual inspections of products and conduct basic dimensional inspections to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Conduct In-Process Quality Assurance (IPQA) of production builds to ensure compliance with our quality procedures.
  • Review and validate Detailed Process Procedure (DPP) work instructions and assembly and testing operations.
  • Prepare and submit AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and other quality-related documentation.
  • Interact with customers during Source Inspections and provide quality-related support as needed.
  • Archive and scan all applicable build documentation and records.
  • Take photos of defects, initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and segregate Non-Conforming products.
  • Conduct inspections of Returned Material Authorizations (RMAs) and report findings.
  • Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) meetings and provide quality-related input.
  • Prepare delivery documentation and fill out applicable forms.
  • Provide cross-functional training as needed and support the QA/PA Manager and Quality team.
Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
  • Reside in Colorado.
  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
  • Three years of experience in a quality-related role, preferably in an ISO9001 or AS9100 company.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, GD&T, and basic electrical drawings.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Clear oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to follow procedures and standards.
  • Visual Inspection skills using microscopes.
  • Experience with Calipers, micrometers, height stands, pin, and thread gauges.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to learn quickly and be trained.
Preferred Qualifications
  • AS9102 First Article Inspection Report certification.
  • Experience with CMM, optical comparator, smart scope, and other quality-related equipment.
  • Certified IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610.
  • Internal audit experience.
  • Technical writing skills.
  • Training in GD&T.
