About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Nothing Bundt Cakes. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality cakes that meet our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow proprietary recipes and cake production methods with precision to achieve productivity goals.
  • Effectively utilize commercial-grade mixers and ovens to bake cakes.
  • Prepare raw ingredients and equipment for baking, place cake pans into hot oven, and monitor the baking process.
  • Adhere to proper packaging, labeling, and storage of baked cakes, as well as product rotation standards.
  • Assist the Bakery Manager in developing a cake production plan and monitoring inventory of baking supplies.
  • Evaluate raw ingredients and baked cakes to ensure they meet our quality standards and inform management of any quality control issues.
  • Clean, sanitize, and restock the workstation, ensuring all baking supplies are prepared for the next shift.
  • Comply with all health and safety guidelines and company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Able to understand written and oral directions, interpret instructional documents, and apply knowledge to perform job responsibilities.
  • Understand basic units of measurement used in the U.S.
  • Have the ability to perform repetitious, physical tasks that require strength to lift items of moderate to heavy weight and stand for extended periods.
  • Able to operate commercial-grade ovens and other bakery equipment and work adjacent to a high-heat source.
  • Meticulous about using exact measurements, paying strict attention to timing, and working on a tight, fast-paced production schedule.
  • Can evaluate products, processes, information, and surroundings to determine compliance with standards.
  • Possesses the discipline and attention to detail to strictly adhere to health and safety practices and work environment standards.
  • Diligent, organized, and self-motivated, with the ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
