We are looking for a dedicated Aerospace Systems Engineer II to join our innovative team at Garmin International, Inc. In this role, you will contribute to our vision of integrating cutting-edge technology into the Experimental/Amateur-Build, Light-Sport, and Part 23 aviation sectors by aiding in the effective design, development, and implementation of advanced avionics systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establishes and upholds system architectures and specifications
  • Develops execution strategies for product-specific system-level components in alignment with Garmin protocols, including interactions with external clients
  • Identifies and documents the technical scope of modifications to enhance existing functionalities or interfaces
  • Diagnoses and rectifies defects utilizing appropriate engineering methodologies
  • Plans and conducts integration testing to ensure user satisfaction and confirm system specifications
  • Generates technical documentation for system design and specifications
  • Continuously seeks to enhance processes, tools, and methodologies

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline AND at least 1 year of relevant experience OR a comparable combination of education and experience
  • Strong academic performance (cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher)
  • Exhibits advanced skills in troubleshooting, debugging, and problem resolution
  • Experience in Systems Integration processes
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities

  • Prior experience with consumer or aviation-related products
