The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) is an integral part of AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS), dedicated to fostering revenue growth, adoption, and expansion among a diverse range of clients, from small and mid-sized enterprises to large-scale public sector organizations.

Our approach centers on understanding and addressing our customers' most intricate and mission-critical challenges, enabling us to craft and implement go-to-market strategies that transform AWS concepts into multi-billion-dollar ventures.

WWSO encompasses teams specializing in business development, technical solutions architecture, and more.

As a member of WWSO, you will lend your expertise throughout the entire lifecycle of an AWS customer initiative, from ideation of new services to accelerating the uptake of established offerings.

This role is situated within the Go-To-Market (GTM) Specialist team, where you will spearhead GTM strategies for AWS' Cloud Operations technologies, including AWS CloudTrail, AWS X-Ray, Amazon CloudWatch, AWS Config, and AWS Control Tower, specifically targeting Enterprise clients in the United States.

Our team is responsible for creating sales initiatives, leveraging partnerships, and developing new programs that yield significant results for our clients.

We also provide essential feedback from clients to guide our product development, working closely with our partner ecosystem to support our customers' objectives.

In emerging markets, we play a pivotal role as the initial teams to cultivate markets for new services, domains, or solutions.

When clients seek to innovate and require new methods to utilize AWS, they rely on us to collaborate and deliver tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the GTM strategy and execution for Enterprise Applications, Migration & Modernization utilizing Cloud Operations technologies across North America, in collaboration with field teams including Sales, Partners, Marketing, and other Specialists.
  • Utilize your extensive knowledge of Cloud Operations technologies to identify critical customer challenges in your region and empower account-aligned teams to address them effectively.
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives to broaden market reach, create scalable programs to enhance adoption, and uncover new opportunities within your area of expertise.
  • Establish and implement objectives to foster long-term growth in your region while achieving or surpassing revenue and non-revenue KPIs.
  • Convey customer insights and market trends back to Worldwide teams to ensure we prioritize the development of the most relevant features and services for our clients.
  • Prepare and present monthly and quarterly business reviews and operational planning documents for your respective technology domain and region.
  • Enhance geographical scale through external partnerships; collaborate with cross-functional teams across Solution Architecture, Business Development, Marketing, Partners, and Training to execute customer acquisition strategies.
