About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our team at Hunter Truck. As a Diesel Mechanic Technician, you will be responsible for performing advanced maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform unsupervised advanced maintenance and repairs on all truck systems
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines and other truck systems
  • Assist other technicians with major repairs and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to ensure excellent customer service
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer technical bulletins and industry developments to ensure the highest level of expertise
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational technical school training or equivalent experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company insurability standards
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
