We are seeking a skilled Event Staff/Security professional to join our dynamic team at BEST Crowd Management. As an Event Staff/Security professional, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for event attendees. This role combines event staff duties with security tasks, requiring adaptability, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to customer service and safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Event Setup: Assist with event setup, including the arrangement of equipment, signage, and other necessary materials.
  • Security Checks: Monitor access points and conduct thorough security checks to prevent unauthorized entry and ensure the safety of attendees.
  • Customer Service: Provide friendly and helpful customer service by assisting attendees with inquiries, directions, and general event information.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with event staff and security personnel to maintain a safe and organized environment.
  • Crowd Management: Assist in crowd management, including controlling entry and exit points and ensuring proper flow of attendees.
  • Security Incidents: Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents or emergencies, following established protocols.
  • Event Rules: Monitor event areas to enforce event rules, regulations, and safety procedures.
  • Attendee Complaints: Handle and resolve attendee complaints or conflicts in a calm and professional manner.
  • Company Policies: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines to deliver a high standard of service and security.

Requirements:

  • Age: Be at least 18 years old (age requirements may vary depending on local regulations).
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with event attendees.
  • Observational Skills: Strong observational and problem-solving skills to identify and address potential security risks or issues.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations and handle challenging individuals.
  • Availability: Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules.
  • Physical Fitness: Physical fitness and stamina to stand, walk, and perform duties for extended periods.
  • Background Check: Must pass a background check.
