As a Tax Senior Manager at Forvis, you will have the opportunity to lead and develop a team while helping clients solve complex tax problems and build rewarding business relationships. You will work with clients from various industries, developing your technical skills and advancing your career.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage tax compliance, tax provision, and tax advisory services for C-corporation entities with a focus on C-Corp compliance and ASC 740 tax provisions.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships, providing timely and exceptional client service.
  • Represent Forvis in the marketplace at networking events and participate in the proposal process for potential new clients.
  • Assign projects, resolve scheduling conflicts, and contribute to technical guidance for internal and external publication.
  • Manage, develop, and coach professional tax staff, reviewing returns prepared by tax staff and effectively delegating responsibilities.
  • Utilize technology tools in regular assignments and demonstrate a commitment to improving work processes.
Requirements:
  • A strong sense of ownership for delivering high-quality client service and experience servicing multiple client engagements.
  • Ability to work well with a team as well as independently, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and against deadlines, with proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent supervisory, team-building, and time-management skills.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 7 years or more of relevant progressive tax experience in public accounting or a combination of corporate tax and public accounting experience.
  • CPA license.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, law, or a related field.
  • Experience with OneSource tax software.
