Job Overview

Position Summary

This role is essential in supporting the quarantine procedures within the Processing and Harvesting divisions. The individual will be tasked with maintaining secure, organized, and locked inventory. Accuracy in inventory management is crucial, along with investigating any inconsistencies. The position also involves assisting in the processing of cannabis products, including flowers and pre-rolls for distribution to retailers. Processing responsibilities encompass trimming, packaging, and labeling products.

Compensation

The hourly wage for this position is $20.00. **Important Note**: Forklift certification is required for this role. Certification costs will be covered if the candidate is not already certified. This position involves a degree of manual labor.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage and track inventory of processing materials as assigned.
  2. Document completed batches of trim and related products in the online tracking system, ensuring proper storage in designated areas.
  3. Utilize Cultivera for creating sub-batches, generating manifests, and printing labels.
  4. Organize and move cured flower and stems from drying areas to quarantine zones.
  5. Prepare flower samples for laboratory testing and R&D employee evaluations weekly.
  6. Receive product deliveries, ensuring quality and weight accuracy, while maintaining professional communication with vendors.
  7. Assist in conducting weekly inventory checks to gather data for sales forecasting.
  8. Support the Inventory Manager in maintaining an organized quarantine area and retrieving products for processing.
  9. Update online inventory tracking sheets to reflect current stock and item locations.
  10. Process returns and submit return invoices for payment.
  11. Prepare items for further processing as needed.
  12. Work in quarantine under the guidance of the Inventory Manager.
  13. Maintain cleanliness and organization in all quarantine areas.
  14. Trim dry cannabis as required for packaging.
  15. Package and seal pre-rolls for labeling as necessary.
  16. Receive work assignments through various communication methods.
  17. Adapt to a dynamic work environment while collaborating with colleagues.
  18. Participate in Research & Development projects as assigned.
  19. Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Experience in trimming or plant handling is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work independently with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while performing repetitive tasks.
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Frequent walking, reaching, and the ability to see clearly at a distance.
