Job Overview

Honda is seeking a highly skilled Digital Product Model (DPM) Support Specialist to join its team. This role will be responsible for supporting the Honda DPM systems, including tools, methods, and processes necessary for the development and verification of advanced products.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain system functionality and provide user support and training.
  • Track license utilization and propose adjustments as necessary.
  • Analyse current situation to make incremental improvements to systems, methods, and processes.
  • Lead projects related to improvements of existing systems.
  • Recognize and solve problems with moderate scope and complexity and identify root cause of these problems.

Requirements

  • Minimum 0-4 years practical experience.
  • Engineering or IT Bachelor's Degree or equivalent job experience.
  • Basic or working knowledge of at least 2 of the following disciplines: product design and manufacturing principles, enterprise product lifecycle management applications, mechanical engineering principles, design and manufacturing applications, computer operating systems, database and application administration, programming skills, fundamentals of DevSecOps framework, agile development methods.

Working Relationships

  • Peers: The success of DMS's mission is dependent on strong teamwork.
  • Users: DMS can only be successful if the users are getting value from the solutions DMS provides.
  • Supervisor / Unit Manager: Provide updates/status, receive direction, problem escalation, obtain approvals and/or feedback.
  • IS Security & Infrastructure staff: Consult on related access provisioning and confidentiality efforts.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
