Physical Therapy Department Manager

With over 10 years of experience, our team of fully licensed healthcare providers come together under one roof to offer a range of treatments including physical therapy, chiropractic care, acupuncture, massage therapy and more.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. The package includes vacation/PTO days (3 weeks) and paid holidays, as well as health insurance, dental insurance, continuing education allowance, and ongoing support and mentorship from the Director of PT.
Job Description
As a Lead Physical Therapist, you will manage the PT team and formulate individualized health and fitness programs for patients. You will also provide physical therapy to reduce pain and increase mobility, while working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Key responsibilities include:
- Patient Consultation: reviewing health and medical histories, examining patients, reviewing pertinent medical records/imaging, and reasoning for visit
- Developing and implementing physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs
- Assisting patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques, including exercise instruction, modern modalities, and activities of daily living
- Patient education on the benefits of PT, treatment plan maintenance, and home exercises
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, a Physical Therapy License in WA, and at least 3 years' experience as a PT. You should also be a team player who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and committed to ongoing professional development.
Bonus
Graduation from an Accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy Program (DPT) and passage of the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) are required. Additionally, full-time employment is preferred.
