What You Can Expect:


Under guidance, the Virtual Care Coordinator is tasked with delivering non-clinical assistance and services to telehealth initiatives, healthcare providers, clinical personnel, patients, and various departments across the region.

This role involves executing professional-level support functions in one or more operational areas within a designated department/unit. Established protocols are utilized to carry out assigned responsibilities.


Through accurate documentation and effective verbal communication, vital information is disseminated among healthcare team members and other stakeholders throughout the organization and region.

Responsibilities include preparing, compiling, and maintaining technical and operational records for all telehealth initiatives.

Additionally, the role involves managing inventory and ordering supplies as required.

Assistance is provided in collecting patient information between telehealth services and both internal and external units/programs.


Efficient organization of information flow is essential to ensure timely feedback, which includes managing a high volume of telephone calls and electronic communications.

Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.

Qualifications:

Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience.

Licenses/Certifications:
None required.

Some experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
